Joan McGouran - Directeur

Joan is the Manager, ePub and Braille Publishing at CNIB Beyond Print, where she works to create and output alternate formats for readers with print disabilities, ensuring an accessible and equitable reading experience. While still new to the braille world, she has enjoyed learning from her braille transcriber colleagues and the wonderful and skilled volunteers at CNIB and is looking forward to increasing and expanding her knowledge. She has also developed a newfound fascination with printbraille, a likely natural evolution of her love of reading as a child and her collection of children’s books into adulthood.
