Maryse is a lifelong braille user. As the first franco-Ontarian to receive specialized services in a mainstream setting, she learned both French and English braille and is also familiar with the music braille code. She currently works at Consortium Centre Jules-Léger, where she transcribes documents for francophone blind and low vision students. She holds a B.A. in linguistics, another in translation, as well as a master’s in education.
