June 6, 2026 Workshop: 2026 Annual General Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual general meeting of the members of Braille Literacy Canada / Littératie braille Canada (the “Corporation”) will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time (10am Pacific, 11am Mountain/Saskatchewan, 12pm Central, 1pm Eastern, 2pm Atlantic, 2:30pm NL) by Virtual Meeting via the Zoom platform.

This meeting will be held for the purposes of:

• Approving the minutes of the 2025 Annual General Meeting of members;
• Receiving the financial statements of the Corporation; and
• Electing the board of directors

The full AGM package (including minutes from the last meeting, voting ballots, the report of the Nominations committee, financial statements, etc.) will be forwarded to members via e-mail.

Some important points to remember:

• We welcome anyone to attend. However, in order to vote, you must have been a member of Braille Literacy Canada (and paid your annual membership dues) as of May 15, 2026.
• If you are attending the AGM, please do not submit a ballot or proxy form by email prior to the meeting. If you have submitted a ballot prior to the meeting, you will not be eligible to vote at the meeting.
• If you hold both a personal membership and you are a representative of a corporate member, remember that you may be voting multiple times: once for yourself, and again as a representative of your organization.
