November 29, 2025 Workshop: Braille Basics 101

Join us on Saturday, November 29 at 1pm EST (10am Pacific, 11am Mountain, 12pm Central, 2pm Atlantic)

Are you wanting to increase your understanding of braille? Panelists will give an overview of the ABCs of braille and delve into discussing practical ways that it can work for you throughout the day. They will demonstrate how braille can be used with technology, create opportunities and empowerment at the workplace, improve access for education and support the well-being of individuals.

Think of braille as another tool for the toolbox! “If you don’t know it, you can’t choose it” Whether you go for the full meal deal or wanting to learn just enough to manage the elevator or organization your medications, braille can give immediate access to information you need.

This workshop will be of interest to those who are new to braille, Educational Assistants, and families of children who are blind or with low vision.
